Legal Meets Practical: Accessible Solutions

VA VetBiz Reverification

Even if you have already been verified as an SDVOSB or VOSB by the VA’s Center for Verification and Evaluation, the re-verification process can be just as tricky, especially when it involves dealing with the VA’s new VetBiz portal and the application of new eligibility rules (as of September 2018). I can make reverification easy for your firm while addressing any eligibility issues that may have arisen due to rule and business changes.

The following is a list of services encompassed in my reasonable flat rate re-verification packages:

  • Perform a legal audit – I will check to make sure there are no issues with your firm’s continued eligibility.
  • Address and mitigate/avoid potential issues that may prevent re-verification.
  • Draft any necessary changes to corporate documents to clearly demonstrate veteran ownership and control. I will also inform you of additional edits that may (or must) be made due to rule changes and CVE policy. For instance, all federal agencies now allow the “right of first refusal” upon a company’s owner’s decision to sell his or her ownership.
  • Prepare Letters of Explanation needed to explain or clarify documentation or business operation.
  • Assist in gathering the information necessary to apply for the VA VetBiz Verification Program.
  • Complete the electronic application and upload required documents.
  • Conduct most interface in responding to the VA’s requests for clarification or additional information (veteran must perform certain actions).
