GAO Protests
I have assisted numerous firms in prosecuting and defending awards at the Government Accountability Office (“GAO”), touching on such issues such as unreasonable evaluation, unequal treatment, improper award determinations (best value analysis), Kingdomware issues (the VA’s obligation to set aside contracts for veterans), and a myriad of others. My fees are reasonable because I am able to keep low overhead, and also because I want to keep legal services accessible to small business firms competing in the federal marketplace. If you have a bid protest issue, feel free to give me a call at (703) 552-3220 for a free consultation.
Here are what a few of my small business clients have to say about my services in protest representation:
“VetPride Services is a family owned SDVOB company that has used Sarah for many years now in defending and pursing SDVOB and GAO protests. We have been extremely happy with her results and her tenacity in defending our rights. She helps us understand the legal issues and keeps us informed every step of the way and makes sure it’s cost effective for small companies. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable and effective at what she does, she cares about her clients and what she does, and it absolutely shows. We value the great working we have with Sarah and appreciate all the support she lends to VetPride.” – Roger Pierce, VetPride Services, Inc.
“Sarah has assisted my SDVOSB on numerous GAO and SBA OHA protests, and I’ve been very happy with the results, including sustained protests and protecting my rights to contracts. Sarah always explains the legal bases and strategies in a way that is understandable, keeping me informed every step of the way. As a small business owner who works hard to make my company successful, I also appreciate her zealousness–I know that Sarah gives me 100% of her effort, and it shows.” – Kelvin Smith, KTS Solutions, Inc.
“Sarah prevailed for us on a Kingdowmare issue (requiring the VA to set aside contracts for veterans) at the GAO, and on a constitutionality issue at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. She is a zealous crusader for our nation’s veterans and truly cares about the work she does to protect our interests in the federal marketplace.” – Tim Farrell, Veterans4You, LLC
“Sarah is awesome! She has represented our firm on several GAO protests. She is extremely knowledgeable on federal contracting and veteran issues, and she has always protected our interests to the greatest extent possible. She is also reasonably priced and communicative about the level of effort required, which we appreciate as small business owners.” – Patti Jackson and Sam Cody, Avartara, LLC
