Clinic Materials
In keeping with my general belief that legal services should be accessible to those who need them, I recently spearheaded two free legal clinic for veterans in Virginia Beach. The first clinic focused specifically on VA disability compensation claims. Nine attorneys supported the clinic and the sponsor, the Old Dominion University Student Veterans Association (SVA), was instrumental in making it a success.
The second clinic was held on Saturday, September 15th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Old Dominion University Higher Education Center. The topics were expanded to include not only VA disability compensation claims, but also wills, trusts and estates and starting a small business.
